Get To Know Your Stylists

Your bridal stylist is your #1 fan, your hype girl, your educated guide holding your hand (metaphorically and sometimes literally) through your wedding dress shopping. Your stylist’s mission is to build a connection with you in that tiny 45-90 minute window in order to understand who you are and therefore which dress belongs to you! If you’d like a little head start in getting to know your Beloved stylists, we’ve got you covered with a fun Q+A!

Featured (from left to right): Allison, Hannah, Jordan

1. Q: Favorite bridal trends?

A: Hannah: Sprayed glitter veil

A: Jordan: Juliet cap veils

A: Allison: Crescent neckline

2. Q: What is your favorite wedding movie of all time?

A: Hannah: About Time

A: Jordan: Father of the Bride 1 & 2

A: Allison: Mamma Mia

3. Q: What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not selling wedding dresses?

A: Hannah: Musical theatre, yoga, thrifting, find new coffee shops/restaurants

A: Jordan: Disneyland & coffee

A: Allison: Disneyland, coffee, musical theatre

4. Q: What was your wedding like/ what do you want your wedding to look like?

A: Hannah: My wedding venue was in a desert oasis in Arizona! I ate a frosting-painted floral cake, did our table assignments and welcome sign calligraphy by hand, played the newlywed shoe game, and sent guests home with homemade kettle corn!

A: Jordan: My wedding vibes were moody, whimsigoth, forrest/twilight-inspired with a touch of “Phantom of the Opera” with gold accents and candles.

A: Allison: I want my wedding to be elegant, whimsical, and full of personality. Ivy manor is my dream venue, or anything historic, lush, and medieval but in a modern way!

5. Q: What was your wedding dress like?

A: Hannah: I chose an A-line dress (added a petticoat skirt for some volume) with a deep sweetheart neckline, off the shoulder straps, and floral applique. It made me feel like a desert princess!

A: Jordan: I said yes to an A-line vintage lace warm ivory v neck with a cold shoulder and bat sleeves.

A: Allison: I’d love a strapless off-shoulder A line with a tiered ruffle skirt and a touch of pink detail.

6. Q: What’s your go-to bridal accessory?

A: Hannah: I love adding a neck scarf to a strapless dress, it instantly fills in that open space but still allows your décolletage to shine!

A: Jordan: I’m obsessed with a trusty overskirt for a 2-in-1 look!

A: Allison: Sleeves are my absolute favorite add-on!

7. Q: What proposal story from your brides sticks out the most?

A: Hannah: One of my brides was proposed to via snail mail! She’d just returned home from visiting her boyfriend out of town when she opened up an envelope from her mail box with a diamond ring inside! I feel like that’s a great plot for a “You’ve Got Mail” sequel!

A: Jordan: One of my brides went skydiving with her significant other, and upon landing on the ground, popped the question! Thank goodness the ring survived the descent!

A: Allison: A sweet one I remember is a proposal via a scavenger hunt to all their favorite date spots!

8. Q: Who’s your favorite Disney princess?

A: Hannah: Rapunzel

A: Jordan: Snow White

A: Allison: Merida

9. Q: What’s your favorite celebrity wedding?

A: Hannah: Dua Lipa

A: Jordan: Lily Collins

A: Allison: Madeline White

10. Q: Favorite wedding gift idea?

A: Hannah: My husband and I received a custom painted frame with our last name and the year we got married on it- it’s been hung above our tv in the middle of our living room ever since! It feels like the heart of the house.

A: Jordan: Honestly, a vacuum. Also this sounds crazy but- Christmas decorations!

A: Allison: Also holiday-themed: I gifted a friend a Christmas ornament with the bride & groom’s wedding photo in it for their 1st Christmas as husband and wife! I love anything sentimental.
